The Riverside Pantry is a collaborative space that brings together a diverse range of independent businesses under one roof. Our focus is on celebrating small-scale, locally-owned enterprises and providing a platform to showcase our products, creativity, and passion.

A core value of the Pantry is our commitment to sustainability and environmental care. Many of the businesses within our space prioritise eco-friendly practices — from using ethically sourced materials and reducing waste, to supporting fair trade principles.

The Riverside Pantry is also deeply connected to Christchurch’s story of resilience. Following the devastating earthquakes of 2010 and 2011, which reshaped our city, the Pantry, opening in September 2019, has provided a space for local businesses to rebuild, grow, and thrive.
